1 Month of BCN!

Hi guys,

here we are… I’ve been very busy this month, so I couldn’t write anything in the blog.. but finally I have time 🙂

The first balance of BCN is postive… as always new challenges, experiences are the keys to be active and happy. I landed in BCN the 21st of September, perfect time for La Mercé which is the patroness of Barça! traditions (castells at Jaume I), gastronomy, fireworks, concerts and human river everywhere!!

The tough part of this new adventure was to find a room to stay. In BCN there is an high demand of room and poor offer of that, as a result the prices are crazy in BCN city and the standard is a bit low… However I found a nice, cozy, bright room close the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and I will move in the 2nd November.

In the meantime I found an amazing place to stay through Airbnb. The grandma Esther is an incredible Lady. She treats me as her nephew… every day I have coffee, croissant for my brekkie and sometime incredibles lunch with home-grown chickens (I’m not fan of chicken but the taste is delicious). Futhermore all the rest of the family make me feel good… I enjoyed Barça game with Toni and maybe saturday we will go together at Camp Nou!!!

The master is very interesting and I wish that allow me to come back in OZ (I miss it a lot) or give me the opportunity to work in that field somewhere. GIS and Remote Sensing are big world and is growing faster as IT. I believe that is right way tu build a productive career!!

This month I had so many visits from friends..  all spreads in different weekends…

  • Nico and Patacca, oz mates and special people with whom I spent unforgettable moments in Perth, Bali, etc…

  • Diego, and his girlfriend Sara, with whom I shared my erasmus life in Salamanca   with incredible funny nights and crazy dinners.
  • Rich and Nea, workmates at Salt and the Beach, pokermates for a while in Oz and incredible adventurers guys (their 3 months roadtrip around Europe is a milestone).

Now is time to be more productive at uni and plan my next trip (mmmmm….South America?)!    Stay tuned!!!

See you soon mates.

p.s. Next Christmas I’ll be with la Famigghia!!!
